Choose one material to lead

A calm interior rarely asks every material to speak at once. Select one dominant language—such as aged timber or a mineral surface—then let the supporting materials introduce contrast through texture, temperature, and sheen.

Create contrast through touch

Natural spaces feel layered when their surfaces invite different kinds of touch. A smooth stone top, woven fibre panel, hand-finished metal detail, and linen upholstery can coexist when their tones are held in the same quiet family.
